Before entering nursing school, Barnabas taught himself web development through independent study and hands-on projects — building a strong technical foundation in software engineering. He then pursued nursing at the College of Nursing Sciences, Bowen University Teaching Hospital (BUTH), Ogbomoso, and complements clinical training with technology and analytics education through the Institute of Management, Technology and Finance (MTF), Lisbon.

His work sits at the intersection of nursing, technology, and data-driven healthcare — with a strong interest in nursing research, digital health strategy, and building systems that improve patient outcomes and clinical decision-making.

He contributes to ongoing discussions on how nurses can leverage data and technology to strengthen clinical practice, reduce workflow friction, and enable healthcare innovation across Nigeria.
